Community

MSL considers the school as a learning community and places high value on family participation. As in any successful school, we rely on parent involvement and an understanding of Montessori philosophy.  Parents can be found volunteering in the laundry room, the board room, the classroom, and the outdoor classroom.  Parents enjoy meeting other parents during our community-wide events, which you can read more about here.

We work to foster a global perspective of community among our students.  Members of our school community regularly share their own family traditions and experiences with our students.  We have learned about many celebrations from across the world, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, Diwali and Ramadan.

We invite participation from across our community and encourage you to consider how you might help our school community grow.
