We invite you stay a while and visit our website so that you may have a better understanding of our Montessori school community.
I have the great honor of serving as the founding director. This journey began for me many years before having my own children. I was introduced to Montessori by my sister-in-law during a visit to my nephew's school in North Carolina. I remember my amazement and a moment of epiphany. "THIS is what education should be for all children!" When I had my own children, I knew they had to experience Montessori.
Many of us discover Montessori at the urging of a family member or a friend. Often, it is the Montessori children themselves that call us to learn more. This is how we have grown our community from a small group of impassioned families to a much larger group.
Among our community members you will find students, parents, teachers, administrators, volunteers, grandparents and many others working together in support of our children's optimal development. In the spirit of lifelong learning, we continually strive to achieve the vision of Dr. Maria Montessori's work...to follow the child and in the quest for a more peaceful world.
It is a source of great joy to witness the potential of each child unfold in the Montessori way. We are fortunate to be here nurturing and guiding each one to the amazing possibilities within them.
